For thousands of years the River Nile has enabled people to live in Egypt. Join us on a remarkable 6,000 year Theatrical Adventure journey which defies description. It will be our fourth Egyptian cruise and includes many new highlights.
We have a limited number of single cabins with no supplement. When they are gone, they are gone!
There really is nothing like a Theatrical Adventure, just look at some of the comments we have received for our past trips:
“I have never had so much fun in my life!”
“The perfect mix of accommodation, food, friendliness for single passengers”
“The best holiday I have ever been on. I shall never forget your musicians and singers. A marvellous experience.”
“The atmosphere is quite magical – drifting down the river with beautiful music, great food and super company.”
“This was my fourth cruise with Theatrical Adventures. I intend to spend every penny of my children’s inheritance on more of them in the future!”

We arrive in Luxor for a three night pre-tour holiday in our five-star Steigenberger luxury resort hotel.
Guests will be met upon arrival and transferred to their hotel
Tuesday 18th February
Today is a luxury rest day – around the pool, in the bar or exploring this fascinating city.
Wednesday 19th February
We pick you up from the hotel with our modern air-conditioned vehicle for a guided tour to the two ancient sites of Abydos and Dendera. Considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt, the sacred city of Abydos was the home of many ancient temples. On our way back to Luxor we stop at Dendera. To complete a really memorable day we will visit the Luxor temple in the early evening.
Thursday 20th February
We transfer to our five-star deluxe floating hotel, Semiramis1, and after lunch visit the amazing KARNAK temple complex and the Luxor Museum which features items found beneath the Luxor Temple, and from the tomb of King Tut.
Friday 21st February
We have an early start to the West Bank where we visit the domed mud-brick house where Howard Carter lived during his search for Tutankhamun’s tomb. The Valley of the Kings is a “must-visit” highlight. Finally we see The Tombs of the Nobles, some of the best “least-visited” attractions of the west bank. Nestled in the foothills are more than 400 tombs belonging to nobles from the 6th dynasty.
Saturday 22nd February
This morning we visit The Temple of Esna which conveys a sense of the importance which the Ancient Egyptians placed upon their places of worship. After lunch we sail on to Kom Ombo where we overnight.
Sunday 23rd February
This morning we enjoy an early morning guided tour to Kom Ombo temple – an unusual double temple constructed during the Ptolemaic period, which lasted from 108 to 47 BC. The ancient Egyptian place of worship features a unique engraving that is thought to be among the first representations of medical and surgical instruments.
Monday 24th February
This morning we visit The Temple of Kalabsha a major structure in New Kalabsha close to Aswan. The entire Roman Period temple to the sun god Mandulis was relocated here in 1970. It was built by Emperor Augustus and was the largest free-standing temple of Egyptian Nubia. During relocation, the temple was cut into 13,000 blocks. After lunch we have free time. An optional felucca trip can be taken around Elephantine Island.
Tuesday 25th February
This morning we offer an optional coach trip to Abu Simbel. After lunch we begin our sail back to Luxor overnighting in Esna where we can see The Temple of Esna dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum, the god of creation.
