  • You will rehearse the choruses to support a major Gilbert & Sullivan Concert
  • There will be recitals from some of the instrumentalists.
  • Two talks – “Life in the Pit” and “Putting it Together.”
  • A string quartet will play throughout the two receptions
  • There will be three 60 minute concerts featuring operetta, musicals and opera with orchestra accompaniment.
  • plus, of course our passenger Party Night.

  1. Day 1 Monday March 18th

    Fly or travel by Eurostar to join our Theatrical Adventure ”Voyage of Musical Discovery” in Amsterdam. We will set sail at 4pm this afternoon.

  2. Day 2 Tuesday March 19th

    We arrive in Dusseldorf at 10:00am and visit the longest bar in the world with 260 bars, cafes and breweries! Our guide takes us on a stroll through the picturesque lanes.

  3. Day 3 Wednesday March 20th

    The 2000 year old town of Koblenz is in Germany’s most beautiful corner – the picturesque landscape of the Rhine and Mosselle. On then to the dramatic Rhine Gorge, the most beautiful stretch of river. Here, ancient castles stand sentry on lofty cliffs rising 400 ft above waters. Cruise past the legendary rock of Lorelei.

    After arriving in Rudesheim, we visit the amazing ”Siegfried Mechanical Music Instruments Museum”

  4. Day 4 Thursday March 21st

    Arrive in Speyer in full view of the imposing Romanesque cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built in the 11th Century and the resting place of eight German monarchs

  5. Day 5 Friday March 22nd

    Situated on the border of France and Germany, Strasbourg is the seat of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. Your guided tour will visit the Gothic Cathedral as well as the magical La Petite France.

  6. Day 6 Saturday March 23rd

    Worms is locked in a three way battle with the cities of Cologne and Trier for the title of Oldest City in Germany. We travel by coach to Heidelberg, home of the oldest university in Germany and visit the imposing ruins of Heidelberg Castle, towering magnificently over the city.

  7. Day 7 Sunday March 24th

    Cologne straddles both sides of the Rhine and is known for its soaring, twin steepled Gothic Cathedral whose construction began in 1248 and was only completed in 1880. The Old Town abounds with cafes, shows and taverns

  8. Day 8 Monday March 25th

    We arrive back in time for breakfast and our return travel home. Well sung – and well danced.

This cruise is aboard the outstanding premium class “Elegant Lady.” All 64 cabins overlook the river and are located on the main and upper decks. They are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, shower, toilet, TV, safe box with Internet connection available.
